SF-series actuators incorporate more than 3 layers of protective coatings which can withstand severe service conditions. The inner surface of the gas cylinder is coated with PTFE to enhance its corrosion resistance and self-lubricating performance.

The SF-series actuator is composed of driving module, cylinder, spring, and optional side units. Those modules are designed for easy installation, disengagement, replacement, and fastening. Each module can be purchases separately for a minimum spare-parts inventory.

To ensure the safety of the operator during the installation and maintenance of the spring module, the module is designed so that it can only be disengaged as a complete unit from the actuator along the axial of the cylinder module, avoiding possible accidental damage from the spring force on personnel or the actuator.
